Glenn Branca has become a staple of the New York avant-garde music scene, ploughing an often lonely furrow into the far reaches of orchestrated guitar arrangements. Often drawing on an eclectic selection of musicians to realize his symphonies (including assorted members of Sonic Youth), Branca's solitary vision and dogged determination to stick to his guns has seen him gain worldwide notoriety. This live performance includes a selection of movements from Symphonies # 8 & 10.
